An Introduction to Podcasting for Business
Do you want to know more about Podcasting for Business, and how this engaging medium could fit into your business marketing and communications plan?
It’s probably not widely-known that a local production company is responsible for producing thousands of hours of engaging audio for the likes of Julius Baer, E-On, Serco and one of the most well-known global banking brands, primarily for internal podcasting and customer communications.
Recently the studios recorded the new series of French and Saunders, available on Audible, and has also provided ADR (dialogue work) for Fox and Netflix. The studios are used to providing audio links for actors, voiceover artists and interviews and, locally, it is the production studio for the exciting Plymouth Trails app.
Fresh Air Studios Ltd is a Plymouth audio production company and proud members of the Devon and Plymouth Chamber of Commerce.
This fully packed Chamber Live will explore the exciting world of podcasting, and is aimed at providing you with enough information and insight to consider integrating podcasts in your business strategy and evaluate if this medium is right for you.
We’ll explore the anatomy of a podcast, structure, and summarise popular programme formats and use case scenarios. We’ll explore how the purposes of business podcasts might not be what you expect, with real-life case studies, and how good old storytelling can become a strategy.
We’ll also share, quite candidly, that the key to podcasting success for a business might not be hitting a thousand subscribers and explore myriad benefits beyond the recording session and how repurposing can create an exciting content plan.
Due to the limited time, we will be unable to cover the technical aspects of audio recording, editing, production, hosting, distribution and analytics, but we will actively encourage all participants to ‘play with audio’, and will explain how, at its simplest form, the tools needed to record an interview may already be right in front of you.
