Purple Tuesday is an annual national campaign aimed at getting us to think about the needs of disabled people as customers and how we can change their customer experience.
Did you know that in the UK a fifth of the population have a disability? And together with their families and friends, disabled people have a spending power valued at £274 billion!
Primarily focused on retail - but also vital for any business that sells online - Purple Tuesday promotes those businesses who have made a public commitment to change their customer service approach for disabled customers.
Led by Purple.com’s Chief Executive Mike Adams, Purple Tuesday highlights the commercial value of doing the right thing for customers with disabilities.
Hosted by Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce Chamber Live will introduce a panel of business people who can share their experience of catering to the Purple Pound market and practical tips to help make your business more accessible too. (It’s easier than you might think!).
