Due to circumstances beyond his control Brigadier Jock Fraser has had to withdraw from the Chamber Live event on Monday and this will now be rescheduled for a later date. Brigadier Fraser wanted us to pass on his sincere apologies and he looks forward to meeting you all at a future date.
We are sure you will understand that as regional commander of the Royal Navy he is subject to operational demands that have made this unavoidable, but we will do all we can to host him again soon.
Our new date will be confirmed soon.
Following a highly successful military career Brigadier 'Jock' Fraser commenced his current role as Naval Regional Commander Wales and Western England in Sep 2017. Effectively the Naval Attaché for the region, his responsibilities include the coordination of Naval Service support to the civil authorities in time of crises; liaising with the civic community; coordinating arrangements for Royal Navy and foreign warships visiting commercial ports; representing the Royal Navy at ceremonies and public events and supporting numerous Regular Navy, Royal Marines and Maritime Reserve units in the region.
We will also be joined by Lt Col Craig Hampton-Stone (Commander of Devon’s Reserve regiment) and Jon Beake (Senior Regional Employer Engagement Director from Wessex Reserve Forces) who have been working with us on the local and national Chamber Military Network to promote the Armed Forces Covenant.
Join us to experience our virtual panel session where we will be providing our business community with a platform where you can find expert advice in different subjects that are impacting on us all at this time, and the opportunity to ask questions of our panel about your own specific situations.
Following the sudden and unprecedented impact of COVID19 we completely understand the challenge businesses are facing. Therefore, there has never been a better or more important time to be a member of the Chamber with the reliable, trusted support of a well-connected and influential business group that can provide you with valuable advice to support you and your business.
