Description
In Plymouth and the Southwest we often don't shout loudly enough about some of our hugely successful businesses. Local Chamber members Classic Builders and Hoare Lea have undergone some phenomenal growth in recent years and made a big impact on our local economy, despite a difficult political and economic environment.
Their success stories are an inspiration to all those looking to develop and grow their own business.
Speakers at this event will present stimulating accounts of their own journeys to success including how they have overcome setbacks to expand operations nationally and internationally.
This is a great opportunity to learn from their experiences and understand how your business could replicate them by being the next big success story from the local area.
Speakers will include:
Lewis Tolputt, Classic Builders with “Successful local construction company Classic Builders talks about the business’ growth and how to succeed within competitive markets.”
Jamie Rail, The Focus Training “Our new centre is an investment in the city and the future of the next generation. We are keen to support local initiatives and partnerships in closing the skills gaps throughout a variety of sectors. However your feedback would be invaluable in facilitating this. What do you feel we could offer to better support the needs of the city and its businesses?
Simon French, Partner at Hoare Lea will be talking about his experiences of leading his Plymouth based team who were responsible for designing a stadium for the 2022 Football World Cup in Qatar. This was a major international engineering and construction project with many challenges and showed that the skills and attitudes that help create local success can also work on an international stage description.
