Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce’s flagship City Conversations event is designed to give you a bite-sized insights into the issues, projects and organisations guiding the economic future of Plymouth.
These briefings on a wide variety of topics are designed for business owners and senior management. The presentations are purely strategic, not sales-based and the event is the best opportunity in the city to understand how Plymouth is developing – and how you might be part of it.
Our next event features Paul Foster, the new Managing Director of Babcock International Group. Paul will outline his vision for the next 50 years of Babcock in Plymouth and the future of the city’s historic dockyard. He’ll give an insight into the company’s vision who they’ll be employing, how Babcock will develop and the types of firms they’ll be contracting.
Also speaking will be:
Tim Jones from Start Point Finance, addressing the changing commercial finance market to help members prepare to meet new fundraising challenges, with some jargon busting in the PAYG BBLS & CBILS environment.
Jay Cholewinski from TS Partners will give an update R&D tax relief and how your business might well be able to access it.
Victoria Allen, Marketing & Events Manager at Plymouth City Council, will also give an invitation on the biggest event in the South West this year – SailGP, plus plans for future events post lockdown.
