About Us

We exist to care for and work with people aged 50+, those living with dementia and carers, in and around the City of Plymouth, to improve their quality of life through the promotion of choice, opportunity and independence.
Tackling loneliness is a key aim of AUKP, with the focus of helping people keep active, connected, and purposeful within their community.


They did it! The team successfully completed their trek of the Sahara!
And they're off - The Sahara Trekkers will trek for 4 days across the desert in aid of Age UK Plymouth
Working with Memory Matters to create a Dementia Pathway for the city, promoting a holistic, wraparound approach to dementia care in Plymouth.

On the 28th November, The William and Patricia Venton Centre, Age UK’s Mount Gould home played host to the charity’s 80th Anniversary, a celebration of the organisation’s past, present and future.
