About Us

The SWCPA charity protects, cares for and champions the South West Coast Path as one of the world’s greatest trails and one of the region’s most important environmental, wildlife, health-& wellbeing & tourism assets.

It works collaboratively with businesses to help connect them to the 9 million visitors who use the Path each year, bringing £520 million into the regional tourism economy, in order to raise the £1,500 it takes to look after each mile of the Trail each year.

The charity's Coastpath Connectors programme helps to introduce disadvantaged groups to physical and mental wellbeing benefits of Path and to connect actively with nature.

SWCPA offers opportunities for sponsorship, corporate and team fundraising, business profile through its Way Maker and Coast Path Passport schemes and charity of the year support as part of CSR. ,
