Chamber takes up residence in Derriford Business Park today (Monday 10th September)
Today (Monday 10th September) sees the Plymouth and Devon Chamber of Commerce team relocate from its Georgian city centre premises in Lockyer Street to a modern office building at Unit 5, Derriford Business Park, Brest Road, Plymouth PL6 5QZ.
The spacious office unit at Derriford Business Park will give the Chamber room to develop and expand its member services and activities in the future, as it will be able to host larger events and training programmes as well as provide smaller meeting spaces and break out areas. The unit will also be able to house other businesses in due course.
Longer term, the move to purpose built office premises will allow the Chamber to develop its role as a business and enterprise hub for the city and the region, helping businesses to grow and export. The new premises are easy to find and access, with some dedicated visitor parking available. The offices in Lockyer Street are currently up for sale with agents Stratton Creber.
Richard Stevens, Chair of Plymouth and Devon Chamber of Commerce, said: “The move to the new premises is both practical and symbolic as the Chamber enters an exciting phase in its long history that will allow us to expand our offering to members with new services and benefits, led by our new CEO who starts on 1st October. The new offices are conveniently located in the heart of the Derriford Business District and we look forward to welcoming members and visitors alike.”
The Chamber’s new address is: Unit 5, Derriford Business Park, Brest Road, Plymouth PL6 5QZ.
