City Council Leader Tudor Evans visited the Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce to meet with the Chamber’s Chair, Richard Stevens and Chief Executive, Stuart Elford.
Councillor Evans, was delighted to visit the Chamber’s new premises where he was given a tour and was very interested to hear about the Chamber expanding their services to their members over the next few months.
The Chamber’s CEO Stuart Elford said of the visit: “It was fantastic to welcome Councillor Evans to our premises and discuss with him the Chamber’s exciting plans for the future. The spacious office unit will give the Chamber room to develop and expand its member services. Longer term, the move to the purpose-built premises will allow the Chamber to develop its role as a business and enterprise hub for the city and the region, helping businesses to connect, grow and export. We have an excellent working relationship with the Council and are grateful to them for their continued support.”
The Chamber moved from its Georgian city centre premises in Lockyer Street in early September this year to a modern office building at Unit 5 Derriford Business Park, Brest Road, Plymouth PL6 5QZ.
