DEVON & PLYMOUTH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE STATEMENT ON CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

The health and safety of our delegates, our staff and employees at our partner venues is always our primary consideration.

As a purely precautionary measure, we have temporarily asked delegates at our events to refrain from shaking hands and embracing. We believe this is a responsible and sensible policy in light of the evolving situation and nationwide attempts to contain the virus.

Should circumstances dictate that an event cannot go ahead on the planned date we will work with the venue to postpone until a more appropriate time can be found to restage the event. In this situation any registration fees will be deferred and applied to the new date, unless you are unable to attend on the new date in which case a full refund will be made.

In the unlikely event that Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce has to cancel an event due to the spread of coronavirus we would like to reassure you that all monies received from delegates will be refunded in full.

Otherwise, it is very much business as usual and we will monitor and disseminate advice from BCC, the government and Public Health England going forward.

This statement will be reviewed daily and updated as the situation develops.
